COMPASS

Your first visit

The Approach · Step 1

A conversation first. Then an assessment. Then a plan you understand.

Your first visit is 60 minutes. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is done without explaining it first.

The 60 minutes

What happens, step by step

  1. 01

    We talk

Your history, work, lifestyle, stress and goals. This comes first, before any examination.

  2. 02

    We assess

How you stand, move and function: posture, movement, joints and the nervous system. Further tests only if they are needed.

  3. 03

    We explain

What we found, in plain language, and how it connects to what you are feeling.

  4. 04

    We plan

What care makes sense, what to do at home, and what happens next. Where it is appropriate, care can begin at this first visit.

Common questions

Good things to ask

Will it hurt?

The assessment should not be painful. Tell us if anything is uncomfortable and we will adjust. Care is chosen for your presentation, not a fixed protocol.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to book a first visit. If we think you would benefit from a scan or another professional, we will say so.

Can I bring someone with me?

Yes. Many people bring a partner, parent or friend, and you are welcome to.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on you. We will give you an honest picture at the end of the first visit and review it as you progress.

What if I am anxious about coming in?

That is common. Tell us when you book or when you arrive, and we will go at your pace.

Ready to book your first visit?

Request a time, or ask us a question first. There is no pressure either way.
